There are several food stalls along the main road, Jalan Sudirman selling Indonesian food with rice. There are many dishes which they will bring out for you to try, including curry chicken, vegetable, fish, seafood etc. You just need to pay according to how many dishes you eat, which I was told is a common practice around this region.

There is a famous food stall selling Mee Soh (noodles with chicken in soup) located along the road near to the big Istiqpmah Mosque and Hotel Wisata. The Mee Soh as well as other food such as the fried chicken wings are very tasty and cheap.
