    Do take the Merpati Airline to Hang Nadim Airport. From there you may head on down to your hotel by taxis. This airline operates regularly and takes off every hour.

    I took Garuda Airlines from Padang to Pekanbaru (transit) before continuing my journey to Singapore. Overall, I am satisfied with the flight - no delay and good in flight service. Highly recommend Garuda Airlines to others.

    Do spare some time out to visit neighbouring countries like Malaysia or Indonesia. If you feel like going back to the basics…you may visit Riau, Indonesia. Take a ferry down to Batam from World Trade Centre. The ferry schedules are available at the counters or you may just check it out with your hotel reception. From the Batam Ferry terminal, you gtt transfer to a domestic airline to Pekanbaru. Voila!

    The Sultan Syarif Kasim II airport in Pekanbaru (airport code PKU) is the new airport for the town, replacing the old Simpang Tiga airport. Being a new airport, the airport building is quite impressive with local design and wood works.

    The PKU airport connects the town and Riau province with other parts of Indonesia as well as other major cities in the region such as Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. PKU airport is also a major gateway into Sumatra from Singapore which is 40 minutes away by air. Among airlines that fly to Pekanbaru are Garuda Indonesia, AirAsia, AdamAir, Lion Air and Mandala Airlines.

    Bagansiapi-api is the capital city in Rokan Hilir. and the local people like to have evening tea time.... when i came there at the afternoon, they just start to prepare the table, chairs and food stall on the street.... really nice time to have tea, and eat....

    Rokan Hilir River is a big river in Rokan Hilir District, Riau province, And when Full moon, it always have Bono, the big wave, it happend when the river water meet the sea... and the then the big wave (Bono) come..... suck everything he meet in the river.

    Siak River is the main river that connects itself all the way through Malacca, Malaysia. Goods such as rubber and tin are mainly transported through this river. Though its dirty and chalky, you may still see kids playing in the river and jumping down from the Siak Bridge. SUPERMAN? I wonder…

    In Rokan Hilir District still have many wild tiger, sometimes the forest department has to catch them and put into the conservation area.
