Karimun, is life at night .. city never sleep. Many things you can do .. After having a good dinner at seafood restaurant (facing a sea), just go to any nightclub or karaoke..depends on 'what' you want a do. Seriously, there are two types of tourist here. One, looking for a cheap goods ... and another one, single or enjoyable person. The worker likes me, not included as a tourist. But we can be a part of both categories .. :).
All these places, can be reach by walk ... but I not really recommend any VT to go inside a disco ... many ppls take a drugs here, and if you 'lucky' you can meet brother police when they rush a place! So, pls avoid this place. Other place, try go massage to relaxing your body. be careful with your belongings. All cost, are really cheap ... serious!

The best way to get to Karimun Island is by ferry from nearby Batam Island. The ferry leaves at the Sekupang ferry terminal at Batam Island and takes about 1 hour to reach Karimun Island. OK..talk about gambling. REMEMBER, now gambling is illegal in Indonesia! Dont try to come here and gambling, either in your hotel's room. I heard (when I was there), there a few groups from Msia and SPore were caught by police bcoz of this activities. When you get caught here, no matter either you are tourist or not, its difficult to deal with...more
Nowadays, Karimun Island and nearby Batam Island have increasing child prostitution and the authorities are clamping down on such activities so do be careful especially at night. Also, there are beggars and pickpockets on the streets, as well as people claiming to know you and ask you for some money.more
