There are many good seafood restaurants at very reasonable prices, if not just plain cheap. Indonesian food is usually fairly hot and spicy with lots of curries like savur lodhe which is a vegetable curry, or redang made with mutton, fish, beef or chicken. Of course fish is in abundance with fishing being the main livelihood here. This photo was taken at a local restaurant on Senggarang Island where we stopped for lunch.
