By Boat : From Singapore it takes about 2.5 hours to Tanjong Pinang and they depart from the World Trade Centre in Singapore. The ferries are modern, fast, air-conditioned and even show movies enroute.
By Air : Tanjung Pinang's airport (Kijang) is small and there are only a few direct flight to Jarkata and Pekanbaru via Prodexim Trnas Air. Bintan has no airport.
