Miscellaneous: Cash:
No need to bring heaps of cash to Soe any more, we found two banks with ATM accepting foreign cards, viz. the BRI and BNI main offices.
Withdrawals at BRI are free, but limited to Rp 1 million on a local debit card and to Rp 500,000 on a foreign card.
BNI gives out Rp 1,200,000 at one withdrawal on both local and foreign cards, but charges Rp 50,000 when you use a foreign one.
So it will depend of your own bank's fees which ATM is cheapest for you.
The banks' cashiers close at 15:00.
