From Jakarta To SouthSulawesi, there are so many flight with different kinds of AirLines, and also with competitive ticket price, It was easy to get ticket,.but it would be better if you make a reservation from Travel Agent(so many,in Jakarta(), in peaks seasons, it could be rather high yicket price, but in no peak season, the price cheaper
A different way to get around Sulawesi is with a motorbike. I traveled from Ujung Pandang (Mekasa) to Tana Toraja 2003 on a 200cc Honda Tiger rented from a dive shop run by a great Belgian Jan Soontjens at Marlin Dive for about US$70 a week. You set your own pace and see all the places the bus trippers miss like the west coast. If any repairs are needed they?re cheap, I paid US$10 to replace the clutch! If Jan cannot rent you a bike with a little effort you can rent one from someone else, I had a couple of offers. Watch the traffic (of course, this is Asia).
