Favorite thing: Exploring the three main roads in the downtown to see Jakarta in modern side. Their names are; Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan Mohammad Husni Thamrin and Jalan Gatot Subroto. Many new skycrapers as trade-mark of the city are situated there.
Fondest memory: Gedung (gedung means building) Danamon at Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Deutsche Bank at Jalan Diponegoro (close to Jalan Mohammad Husni Thamrin), Gedung LIPI at Jalan Gatot Subroto, Gedung Dharmala Sakti (proclaimed as one of the five most beautiful skycrapers in the world), etc.
+ Picture is about Gedung LIPI and Jalan Gatot Subroto. Courtesy of Dimka Skinny :)

JAKARTA known as a second city in Asia for her heavy teraffic. Driving in Jakarta, very boring and tiring. Do not say about polution which came from *Bajaj* , motorcycle or other vehicle, to be arrive at the destination intime consider good already. May be the previous Goverment, never think that Jakarta will be expending to become a Metropolitan City. Teraffic's Police to replace the teraffic light at the road side.

Fondest memory: This is definitely one of the busiest roads in the entire city - Jalan Thamrin. We were caught in the traffic jams (during the peak morning and evening rush hours) for almost 90 minutes daily! We had no choice but to use this road as it was the ONLY way out from the Grand Hyatt. Sigh.

Favorite thing: The Jakarta fountain, difficult to avoid as it is in the very central area of the city in the middle of one of the most important road.
