I've no idea why is this place called the Embassy, what an unimaginative name! Apart from the cheesy name, this place sure is one of the hippest clubs in town. The club has three floors. The top most one houses comfy and plush sofas and a bar, while the middle one is where the dance floor is located, and the basement is where a smaller club, called CO2 (another "blah"), can be found. The bluish modern interior is pleasing to the eyes and the crowd is amazingly lavish and flashy. Be prepare to stand in line as the club is always PACKED on Fridays and Saturdays.

Embassy at Taman Ria Senayan is the most happening, trendiest and kewl(cool)est place to be when you want to try the dance scene in Jakarta. "Opened in June 2002, Embassy, was and still is not a caf? or a bar with a small dance floor, Embassy is a pure club that has the same standards as any super club in the world..."(embassyjakarta.net). Tribal, progressive house are pumping from Wed to Sat night.

Opened in 2001 and has since started the wine lounge trend in Jakarta. Used to be small and jam-packed on weekends, a face lift has been made to this enduringly popular lounge. Now, with DJs spinning jazzy lounge mixes, live bands, and a new outdoor dock area overlooking Taman Ria Senayan man-made pond and the ferris wheel. The selection of wine is extensive and the cocktail menu is imaginative. Service is very friendly also. Although the lounge doesn't have a dress code, just make sure you dress up really nice, since most people who come here do.
