If you're looking for a streetball game of basketball where anyone can join the game, as long as you really Can play basket, just come to Senayan outdoor basketball court.
Located in front of the TVRI building, opposite taman ria (tgi fridays senayan). I'm playing weekly every wednesday night, from 8.30pm till about 11pm. We are a bunch of guys who love to play (but not too serious) game of basket.
There's one-two expat who play with us, just ask one of us if you want to join the game. The rule basically the same, normally the team who lost all been replace by the new ones.
Equipment: all you have to do is come with your basketball gear, smile and ask one of the player if you could join the game

The JCA organizes the Annual JCA League, Jakarta International Sixes tournament, JCA junior cricket for schools and participates in several other tournaments in the south east Asian region. The JCA league which runs for about nine months, from September until the month of May each season culminates with the popular JCA annual gala dinner, which has in the past had guest speakers such as Sir Richard Hadlee, Vivian Richards, Kapil Dev, Geoff (Henry) Lawson, Sunil Gavaskar etc.

Just go to Thousand Islands, north of Jakarta. Take a morning boat, 1.5 hrs travel time, and there u r...in the beautiful tiny island w/ white sandy beach and crystal clear water w/ colorful fishes & coral gardens. U can also do the wreck dive! When u got there, u wouldn't feel that u r just an hour away from the metropolitan city.
Who says u can't go scuba diving in Jakarta? :-)
Equipment: U can always rent diving gears in the resort
