    Dutch Colonial History

    Old Batavia contains the remnants of the old Dutch colonial capitol. It is hardly a quiet escape from bustling Jakarta but a walk around here is worthwhile.

    Well, to learn about Mur Jangkung (local dialect for JP Coen) and his work in the past, we can walking along Jalan Kali Besar and find so many old buildings. There were beautiful.

    This is the oldest cafe and resto in the north of Jakarta. Based on local stories, Cafe Batavia also haunted :) Woman in the red gown. Wawwwww ......
