For Seafood lovers this place is good & resonably cheap but a little far to get here if you are staying in town. From town centre to north of Jakarta where the restoran is located takes about 40min. Anyhow its worth the travel.
The Restoran Garuda offers very good and tasty Indonesia food which is very popular among the local people. The concept of the restaurant is such that they will bring out all the dishes and you will only pay for the dishes which you want to eat. The fish dishes here are especially good, so are the curries and rendang (e.g. beef rendang).You should also try the tasty avocardo juice (see photo), which is popular in Indonesia.Overall, my wife and I enjoyed the food here. Take note that the local food tends to be rather hot and spicy :)
