DANAU (lake) LAUT TAWAR, TAKENGON

by meiyergani

DANAU LAUT TAWAR was a beautiful lake located at TAKENGON, Central Aceh district, it was about 350 km away from Banda Aceh, It is situated on the altitude of 1200 meters above sea level . Danau laut tawar is an enchanting beauty of Nature in Takengon, a fresh and cool holiday resort with an average temperature of 20 degrees Celcius, literally LAUT means Ocean and TAWAR means fresh water, in brief it means the OCEAN LAKE with FRESH WATER

Visit to Balis interestic culture east of Java

by ullfri49

Of course if you in Jakarta, it is a great town, and urbanisation is all around makes travel difficult. So it is good idea to follow the advice to spend some days in Bali. so about 1000 km east, same cultural roofs- but in the development cause of hinduistic culture full other. But dont forget- the real Bali begins out of touristice hotel clusters. But no problem, it is not fare away, usully you can walk, and you are free to choose very interestic tours. There are so much guides and tours too and transportation is usually easy, the streets are even in the raintime very good. Don´t forget the cultures events- like it here at the QSL- Card of RRI (Radio Republik Indonesia)

day trips away from Jakarta

by johnfrompalatineil

To answer my own question after experiencing a month in Jakarta- I was happy that I went to Bali for 3 day weekend, I was happy to have visited Kota, Sunda Kelapa, Fatahillah, National Museum, Monas, Ragunan Zoo, Mangga Dua, Glodok, etc.. I will have to return to Jakarta to visit Bogor, Bandung, Punchak. These beautiful places outside of Jakarta are only 1-3 hours away and away from the hectic pace of Jakarta, in the mountains, and host a wildlife safari, botanical garden, etc.

for at least 10 or 6 day

Krakatoa Blast

by indri

Krakatoa located by the Sunda straits, lies between 2 Biggest islands in Indonesia, Java and Sumatera.Nice spot for who likes snorkling and diving. Especially when you go to Kumang island. In Anak Krakatoa, you can build your tent, camping and hiking to the crater (if the eruption low). in AnakKrakatoa, the beach and the water are very different with others since its affected from the eruption lava. It's black but the water so clear. But dont forget to bring 1. Day Pack / Backpack *2. Sleeping Bag *3. Sneaker(at krakatau) + Trekking sandals or rubber sandals(at the beaches)Strongly suggested use since the lava sand is very HOT and could cause your feet got blister4. Personal Medicine *5. Digital Camera/handyCam (for underwater if u have) *6. Clothes*7. Raincoat/ windcoat8. Toiletries9. Sun Block/ Sun glasses10.The most important… Money*
