A bendi is a small cart with a single horse in front. In Tomohon there are not as many taxi's as in Manado and the traffic here is dominated by these bendi's.
The horses are usually very small and thin. But, I have never seen a criple riding around in Tomohon, nor one with skin-deseases or cough.
If you visit Tomohon, a ride in a bendi is a must-do!
