There is a small restaurent right infront of Rumah Sakit (Hospital) Kartini I forgot the name, The Price is IDR15000 for 1 person. Something you must try atleast once.

Favorite Dish: Originally from Solo and cooked with Chicken and Sweet Soya Sauce but as I like Meat and Hot and Spicy they make it Goat Meat (Kambing) without the sweet sauce and tomato paste. This delicious hot and spicy soup like curry served with steamed or boiled white rice is one of my favorit among Indonesian food infact the most favorit because its prepared on order and served hot.

the noodle tasted so soft but crunchy in my mouth. diced pineapple and chicken and mushroom make it more delicious. added with steamed veggie and baso [meat balls].

The Van

These little Dark Red color mini vans called Kuasi are the popular mean of transportation around Bekasi. The Fare for short distance is IDR1000 and 2500 is max. From Giant or Mall Metropolitan to Jalan Kartini Intersection is IDR2000 or from Jalan Kartini to Pasar Proyek IDR1000, The stops are not fixed you can get off any where you like just by saying Belok Kiri to the driver.

Becak (Tricycle) is also Popular because it can go inside the narrow streets and drop the pessanger infront of the door.

The Fare is depend on the distence and the bargaining skills, Usually around IDR7000 from Jalan kartini to The Bekasi Train Station or vice versa, 2 peoples can sit easily in this 3 wheel Cycle where there driver sit on the back and they have a hood to protect the pessanger from the rain or hot sun.
