Bogor Restaurants

The restaurant is in the heart of botanical garden - Bogor or famous known as Kebun Raya Bogor

Favorite Dish: Starter like fried banana, poffertjes and kampoeng tea... (sorry no pics - next time i upload when i go back there again)

I went with Friends from work, we had such a blast. The food's great, the place is great, we took tons of pics. It has really a great background landscape, Mount Salak. We ordered to have our lunch in the biggest gazebo, it's the one next to the Live Music Gazebo, so we practically had total control over the music, hahaha. Some of my friends were singing along, unstopable. They had a Fishing Tournament going on in the Biggest pond, just right in front of our gazebo, It's a separate pond. So Later in the afternoon some of us tried fishing as well and surprisingly we all caught a total of 5 kg (catfish-patin,lele, and carp). and They have another pond consisting of only 3 gazebos where they put their large collection fish. We were going crazy feeding the fish because there are like tons of fish. Giant Catfish (Lele), Giant White Catfish (Patin), and Large Carps.

Favorite Dish: We all had Es Kelapa Muda (Coconut Drinks) hmm... and we ordered tons of food, since there are 15 of us. Gurame Bakar, Lumpia, Sate Ayam, Karedok, Cumi Goreng Tepung (Grilled Gouramy, Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay, Salad with Peanut Sauce, Deep fried Squid). The Lumpia/Spring Roll was exceptionally crunchy, and the sauce was really really good. We kept on asking for more sauce. Chicken Satay has this great rich sauce, Gurame Bakar was just perfect. Towards the end we added Gurame Goreng/ Fried Gurame, it was crispy and tasty. Overall, the food's really really good. We'll definitely come back next time.

Another group was going to have a buffet lunch inside, and I took a glimpse of the Sweet n Sour Gouramy (gurame asem manis) that they set up beautifully on the metal dish, I just had to take a picture of it. Yummmm..........

The restaurant situated at the middle of Bogor Botanical Garden, it was former Botanic Cafe, a good view of Botanical Garden, all green green garden view, in a good clear climate condition, we can see a blue mountain in the far away, a blue of Mount Salak. De DAUNAN, from bahasa Indonesia DAUN means LEAF

Favorite Dish: Indonesian and western cuisine: Fried rice or Nasi goreng, beef steak, ice cream,
salad, chicken steak, open from 10 in the morning, till 10 pm, in saturday the cafe open until 11 pm

Strolling Bogor Botanical Garden the day long is an exciting and tiredfull,
after all, try to enjoy the local style Western Cuisines, such Steak with Black Pepper sauce,
Chicken Barbeque, Sphagetty the Bologna, Ice cream de Daunan, Fried Rice or Nasi Goreng, and there are many other choices Indonesian fish food, while enjoy your favorite, you can see a beautiful view of green green Botanical Garden, with pedicure lawn and exclucively a frsh fresh greeen view, its open from 09.00 am and closed 10.00 pm, in Saturday, they close at 11.00 pm

Favorite Dish: As i am a vegetarian, i have no comment about the specialities, but you could try beef steak (local beef), with black pepper or chicken roll steak and ice cream

The restaurant with President Palce view at the Bogor main street, if you feel tired after taking around Bogor, President Palace or Botanical Garden, call this cafe in front of President Palace, one compound of Hotel Salak. It was a good place for relax, take lunch or dinner%c+*

Favorite Dish: There are many choices of Indonesian foods, Western foods, enjoy the hospitality ,open daily 24 hours, they have some menus such as Chicken cordon Bleu, Spaghetti Bolognaise etc

Favorite Dish: I have no favorite dish, but the Cafe have special menus, like Fettucini Tuna Rice, Breaded shrimp and pineapple, CAPCAY(welknown vegetable chinese food), Fried Rice, chicken barbeque, etc

Situated at the heart of Bogor city, in one of Bogor's Food spot, a good place for family gathering, for reunion, good for lunch and diner, pleasent and hospitality services, Gunung Gede and Puncak view from the back side of Restaurant, an air conditioned stall inside, City Panorama view at the backyard

Favorite Dish: Not only roasted chicken, as i am a vegetarian ,there are so many vegetables appropriate for vegetarian, bread and sweet delicacies, Salads, boiled corn,soups,
indonesian tropical fruits,soft drink, orange juices, hot coffee and tea, ice cream.
all you can eat with just pay IDR.45,000,- per person, eat as much as you can till your stomach ful

It's a nice place to sip a coffee in the afternoon. A warm bricks decoration with artificiall well gives cozy atmosphere. This place is quite specialized in variety of Apple dishes. From Apple pie to little bit experimental dishes such as Spageti Apple Sauce, Apple Fried Rice, etc.

Favorite Dish: Apart of hot apple pie with ice cream, I also like their chicken pie.
