If you want to go to Bogor, you can go by taxi from Jakarta it will cost US$ 15 until US$ 20, but dont take taxi arround, because Bogor has small public transportation called as angkot.But if you need a car, please dont hesitate to contact me..and please visit my website.

Train is a convenient transportation to Bogor from Jakarta vise versa, there are two kinds of train: Regular Train with no Air Conditioned with the fare of IDR. 2,000 (two thousands rupiah), this train is stop in every station and one can see that it was like moving market, because so many street trader inside the train selling any anything: fruits, drinks, tissue paper and many others. The other is an Executive train with an air condition with the fare of IDR.9,000 nine thousands rupiah) the train is only stop at a certain station, so it should be faster than regular train. The train will take 60 minutes from Jakarta to Bogor.

Angkutan means Transportation, Kota means City, SO ANGKOT is an abreviation of Angkutan Kota. It was cheap transportation means one can find in every where else in Indonesia, as well as in Bogor, cheap by the fee is not more than IDR. 2,000 (two thousands indonesia rupiah)
