Acara ini dilakukan 2 kali setahun di Tuguh Katulistiwa pada bulan Maret dan September. Yaitu tepatnya matahari di atas Pontianak pada jam 12 siang tidak menghasilkan bayangan untuk benda yang tegak lurus dari bumi. Pada kawasan itu diadakan perta budaya.
