There is a new city taxi using Daihatsu Ceria. I never try it before but it's pretty small and cute. Unfortunately is hard to be seen except Gajahmada Rd. Please refer to travel agent for more detail.

When you go from airport to your hotel or hotel to airport.
A standard charge rate of Rp.60.000,- so i prefer the bigger TOYOTA soluna or vios
than the smaller Ceria

Around Pontianak, can be reached by boat also, since this city has the longest river in Indonesia; Sungai Kapuas. Meanwhile, from Pontianak to Singkawang can be reached by bus about 4 hours.
