Kalau mau ke Pontianak janganlah kemarau pada bulan Agustus s/d September. Umumnya terjadi 5 tahun sekali. Karena seluruh wilayah penuh dengan asap hasil pembakaran ladang yg akan ditanami petani. Sehingga udara kota tidak terlalu baik dan dapat mengganggu pernerbangan.
