When traveling to Bali,
you will be advised to bring as little as you can,
since the temptation to buy is so big.
But at Gili Trawangan,
it's the opposite.
You won't need to wear that much cloths,
since you can hang out in a sarong and bathing suit,
but any toiletries, batteries, etc.
would be a smart thing to bring along since
you may not find them there
or will be more expensive than in Bali.
Bring mosquito coils, medication for insect bites,
sun protection, Imodium, panadol, etc
Store are very limited.
And don't forget to bring your smile!
And if you don’t want to deal with the towel,
then just get a sarong and use it as a towel.
It dries quickly,
you can use it as a bed sheet,
a clothing apparel,
or a mosquito swapper!
And it’s cheaper!
Bringing a beach towel may be bulky,
if you are a light traveler.
You can find them on the island for 100,000 Rp
And yes..you'll help the economy too
