The Mayura Park is what remains of the once existing Karang Asem kingdom of Bali. The park was built in 1744, and has a man-made lake with a floating pavillion (the Bale Kambang) used as a judicial court and a meeting place.

It´s the largest hinduist temple in Mataram and is a relic of the Karam Asam Kingdom, It was built in 1720 as a place of worship for Lombok's Hindu followers. It has three Meru´s (towers with straw roofs) wich symbolizes the presence of Shiva, Visnu and Brahma deities.

It's sacred stones guarded by Dewi Sri [Goddess Sri] nearby the pool of hope in Pura Lingsar. Taken from Mount Rinjani [3,726 m] as personification for the local which never go there ~ so they can pray here.

Taman Narmada [Narmada Park] was built in 1727 during the reign of King Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Karangasem. A huge artificial lake which represent Danau [lake] Segara Anak ~ the crater lake nearby Mount Rinjani.

Pura Meru [Meru Temple] also symbolizing the influence of Balinese culture in Lombok. This is the highest style of Meru type of pura, consist of 11 meru as the roof. Built in 1720 during the reign of King Anak Agung Made and dedicated to the Hindu unity on Lombok.

The sacred tree which only can live in sacred place like pura [temple]. It's not allowed to take the beans from the tree. Let them fall to the ground and take it for several traditional medicine. For kids who has scabies or the girls who wants to have beautiful faces [reduced acne!!!]

How people in Mataram~Ampenan~Cakranegara living in harmony at the ancient time were described by many personification sculptures in Mayura Park. Like the Middle East people [Iranian, Turkish] and Chinese people. Symbolizing that they're so helpful during the developing of Mayura Park. And at the entrance gate can be found Chinese dishes which put on the wall.
