diced meat put onto thin bamboo and grilled in charcoal fire. and served with peanut sauce and ketupat [like rice cake but wrapped in coconut leaf, not in banana leaf]. again >> careful, the sauce can be very spicy :)

well, said that minang delicacies always volcano for us. it means very spicy. but at pondok flora, they can be asked "not too spicy, please." so we enjoyed the meals very much.
Favorite Dish: grilled fish and frikadel -- this frikadel a.k.a perkedel is not authentic local but adopted from dutch culinary. like smashed potato with diced meat and fried in hot coconut oil. yummy :)
