Fondest memory: In the day, the weather can be as good as possible or as cloudy as it could be. Don't need to worry or forget to take an umbrella with you. Why?! Because it rains mostly in the late afternoon. Just within a few minutes, it rains dogs and cats. While I was sitting in our taxi, I saw people get saturated horrily, some of whom did not even have time to put on their raincoats.
If you are a romantic person and a fan of Gene Kelly, yah, GO FOR IT.

Favorite thing: Padang's new airport has moved for anout half a year so far. The old one Tabing is only 7km away from the city; while the new oneMinankabau needs 40 min drives, which means furthuer from the city. If you don't have enough money to pay for your international departure airport tax, please do change before entering the check. If you change money inside the terminal, your change rate is horribly low. The fee is Rhp750,000.
The airport itself has little immigration which has only two official to control. However, these people are one of the very nice immigration officer I've ever met in my travel experience. :-)

Favorite thing: Here is another view of the market. It was extremely dark inside under the roof.
