The closest train station to Okehazama Battlefield is Chukyo-keibajo-mae(中京競馬場前) station of Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line. From Nagoya station get the train bound for Toyohashi but change to semi-express(準急) train at JINGUMAE station. Chukyo-keibajo-mae station is the fourth station from JINGUMAE (神宮前)station. From Hamamatsu and eastern part of Japan, change trains at TOYOHASHI and get the Meitetsu line. You can directly buy the ticket from the ticket counter at Toyohashi station but it may take some time when they are queued up. In that case get out from the barrier and buy the ticket at ticket machine and then get in again from Meitetsu side. Take express train (Kyuko, 急行) and change trains at ZENGO(前後)station to get a local(普通) or semi-express train. Chukyo-keibajo-mae station is the next station from Zengo station.

After getting out from the station turn rightward when you meet the broad road turn right again to meet National Route #1. Turn right from there and walk about a couple of minutes. You will then find the huge board of Kotokuin. Get in the road beside the hospital.

Zengo station is one of the stations of Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line, 49.8 kilometers from Toyohashi and 18.2 kilometers from Meitetsu Nagoya station. It is the busiest station in Toyoake city because all of local, semi-express, express stop at this station. Around the station is a shopping area catering to the daily necessity of Toyoake residents. It is also a start of the bus lines to major places of Toyoake city and is occasionally used as the start of Old Tokaido walk because the road runs only a few minutes walk north of the station.
