There are many aquariums in Japan. This one is very show oriented, with ongoing shows in all parts of the park. There are dolphins, killer whales, beluga whales, seals and so on all with their various shows.

Entrance is quite expensive, although we got our tickets as part of our hotel package. Entrance is 2800 yen for adults and 1400 yen for children over 4

salisbury3933 Says:  Stayed here with the family on an all inclusive package with buffet breakfast and dinner in the room included. What I liked about this place is that it is right on the beach, has its own indoor swimming pools, excellent bathing facilities and the food was good as well....

There is a direct express train from Tokyo to Awa-Kamogawa station. Train name is Wakashio.

Takes around 2 hours. Frequency is about every 2 hours during the day.

One way ticket costs around 4000 yen.

This is definitely a real surfing area, being on the Pacific Ocean side of the Boso Peninsula. There were nno shortage of surfers out in the water when we visited, and I'm sure it will be possible to hire a board, given the number of people that come here from greater Tokyo.
