Favorite thing: The Chiba plain is relatively large peninsular, low-lying with a few hills and no mountains unlike most of Japan. Many rice fields abound in this area, also Chiba-grown peanuts are known throughout Japan.

Favorite thing: There are local fisheries here facing Tokyo Bay. In the distance can be seen Aqualine Exp. Bridge, and on a really clear day Mt. Fuji can be seen in the distance.
