The Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line is a bridge-tunnel across the Tokyo Bay.It connects the city of Kawasaki in Kanagawa-ken with the city of Kisarazu in Chiba-ken. With an overall length of 14 km, it includes a 9.6 km bridge and 4.4 km tunnel underneath the bay.At the bridge-tunnel crossover point, there is a manmade island called the Parking Area Umi-hotaru with a rest area and restaurant.
