a pose at the founder of Disney, Walt Disney here on Tokyo Disneyland! the bronze "Partners Statue" of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse in front of Cinderella Castle in every disneyland. When Walt Disney Draw a figure of a mouse in the 1920's when he was just a struggling animator in the depths of despair at not succeding at that time, never did he realized that he was setting the foundation of a Worldwide Entertainment Empire and the "Happiest Place on Earth"Disneyland revolutionized the way that theme parks will become a total package for families and groups. Again, it all started with one anonymous pet mouse of Walt Disney!

famous pirate ride before but made more famous by the movie and jack sparrow (jonny depp!). The waiting line in this attraction is a cool 1 hour! darn you jack Sparrow. the ride actually is just 5 minute. During the course of the indoor boat ride, guests float through an immersing, larger-than-life pirate adventure featuring gunshots, cannon blasts, and burning buildings, all set to pirates carousing and pillaging with the final scene you can see Jack Sparrow in a room full of the hidden treasure. Slightly drunk (as usual), he is draped over a large throne-like chair and waves his new treasures around happily while chattering to himself (and passing guests). Every once in a while he will sing "Drink up me hearties yo ho!".

another theme site of tokyo disney but the difference is that New Orleans Square here in tokyo disney is part of Adventureland hance the famous Jack Sparrow induced Pirates of the Carribbean Ride here in tokyo disney belongs to adventureland and another oddity is that the buidlings of World Bazaar on the west side fade into New Orleans Square of Adventureland. The new orleans square here has lots of shops and souvenir shops and a lousiana themed eatery and sweet caramel popcorn stands!

soaking wet! although the station and surrounding area are themed to a more upscale African city, as opposed to an isolated jungle outpost in US Disneylands. This version shares a station building with the park's steam train ride, Western River Railroad ( the 2nd floor is the railroad and the ground floor is the jungle river boats). The boats travel clockwise rather than counter clockwise and the skippers bow after every to joke to the audience. The attraction simulates a riverboat cruise down several major rivers of Asia, Africa and South America. Park guests board replica tramp steamers and are taken on a voyage past many different animatronic jungle animals. The tour is led by a live Disney Cast Member delivering a humorous preset narration.

lots of soaking rides here. Again the difference between tokyo disney and other disneylands is that it doesn't have a train that circles around the park, the only reincarnation of the train is The Western River Railroad is Tokyo Disneyland's version of its steam-powered railroad. It does not circle the whole park; instead passes through Advenutureland, Frontierland and Critter Country. Adventure land features a sub-land, similar to the Magic Kingdom Adventureland, based on New Orleans Square at Disneyland, which features Pirates of the Caribbean. World Bazaar's buildings fade into New Orleans. the attractions are: The Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents Aloha e Komo Mai!, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle River Cruise, Western River Railroad, Swiss Family Treehouse.

night views in tokyo disney. Well, what can I say about the night views here in tokyo disneyland? the have super lighting that the paths around the park are well illuminated and when in disneyland, don't forget the fireworks show especially during the summertime (it was autumn and rainy when we were here so no fireworks huhuhuhu). the path going to the disney hotel outside is also well illuminated. to get a glimpse of nighttime at tokyo disney you can buy a Tokyo Disneyland Passport good on Starlight evenings only but only during summer and springtime season.

the disney parade in tokyo disney. the time we visited tokyo disney was in early october so the parade motif was halloween. The Halloween parade begins in Fantasyland, near the entrance of It's a small world, and ends on World Bazaar., near the Disneyland City Hall. Floats in Disney on Parade feature Chip 'n' Dale, a studio-like float, the Disney princesses and friends, Alice in Wonderland and friends, Ariel the Little Mermaid, Buzz Lightyear and Woody from Toy Story, and Mickey Mouse and friends in a finale float which looks like the Sleeping Beauty Castle. The parade features almost 100 performers and assisting cast members again in halloween motif but the costumes and the motif changes on the season of the year.

an 60 foot vertical dorp via a canoe and soaking wet ride. it is easily has the longest lines in tokyo disney where waiting times for the 4 minute ride can take 55 minutes long. The ride is similar to the florida magic kingdom one. Passengers ride aboard six-seater logs with six single-file, two side by side in the back individually so they can fit in their seats. The log departs the loading area, winding peacefully through scenery designed to evoke the feeling of a river in the Southern United States. Models of small riverside shacks and aged equipment are incorporated into the landscape, along with an instrumental version of "How Do You Do?" emanating from hidden speakers along the waterway. Several animal burrows are seen along the outdoor portion. There are three lifts that raise the log up to higher levels during the ride, using friction on rubber-like conveyor belts to lift the logs then after a while the 60 foot drop!

the views of around Tokyo Disney and going to and from it. Tokyo Disneyland is just slightly bigger than Disneyland in Anahiem, California, but otherwise is based on the same design, with one major exception. Because of occasionally inclement weather, Main Street USA (World Bazaar) is entirely under a Victorian style glass and wrought iron roof. Tokyo Disneyland lies just outside of Central Tokyo in Urayasu City, 15 kilometers east of tokyo. The nearest station to Disneyland is Maihama Station and the best way to go into Tokyo or back from Tokyo is by the JR Keiyo Line train which lies near the JR Tokyo Station.

for soaking wet rides like splash mountain and the Beaver Brothers Explorer Canoes (their version of the Davy Crockett canoes in Anaheim Disney). Critter Country may be the smallest Disney themed lands in the Tokyo Disneyland but it boast the longest waiting time for a ride and that is the splash mountain and here in tokyo disney, the waiting time for the line is about 55 minutes average for just a 4 minute soaking wet ride. Still in was fun ride and no pictures inside as not to get the camera damaged.
