There are a lot of hand shaped objets surround Fukuoka Dome. And those fingers of objets each has a figure of a hand of a celebrity who is related to Fukuoka, the players of the Hawks or musicians ever performed a concert in the dome and etc.
My wife is happy because Bon Jovi raise there hands on her.

Torakichi are very frantic by natural and this time it was after 18 years since the Tigers to compete for the championship last time before. So they went crazy. Hawks fans seemed to be calm in contrast, maybe because they are used to the championship games recently.

Antonio Inoki. My hero! He is the master of professional wrestling and the lord of martial arts in Japan.
He has a very big hand. Big as my son's head!

Yeah! Sir Paul McCartney for me!!!
He has landed to Fukuoka in the 1993 world tour.
You can see the color of the figure is changed that means this hand is one of the most shaken hands among there.

  • The Korean consulate - Fukuoka
    The Korean consulate
    by amambaw
I was in Japan to get my Korean work visa. As a result, I had the opportunity to visit the Korean consulate in Fukuoka. There's nothing really special to see inside, but the outside had some neat architecture. There's a large courtyard, and you can easily take pictures from the street around the consulate. I didn't get a chance to see it, but the Chinese consulate was about a block away. You could probably visit both in under an hour.

To find the consulates, just head towards the Fukuoka Dome. The Korean consulate is right next door to Hawks Town, and the Chinese consulate is one block over.
