Favorite thing: The mountains are great in Gifu-ken. We did not have much time there, so we did put it on our list to go back to. It must be a wonderfull area to hike, bike, fish and camp. Maybe one of the following summers....who knows.

Favorite thing: At the other side of the dam the water is coming out with tremendous power. It is this power that is used to generate electricity.

Favorite thing: The mountains are a good place to build dams in order to make electricy with water power. Behind the dams beautifull lakes are formed. A heaven for anglers, and watersports.
