Hida Takayama is a very beautiful place. There are old rows of houses of Japan like Kyoto. It is cool in summer and is cold in winter.
Fondest memory: The cherry blossoms already fallen in Tokyo had not full bloomed yet there!
'Cherry blossoms' and 'the verdure of a willow' are the spring color of Japan.
And from Takayama, take a tour bus to wonderful Shirakawa-go, a fairy-tale town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
