Takasaki Kannon

If you're like me who enjoy visiting places of worship, then the Kannon statue (some 40+ meter high) is worth a visit while you're in Takasaki. Kannon is the Goddess of Mercy and a popular figure in Buddhism. You could climb the stairs up to the top of the statue although not many locals do this.
