    Onumi Quasi National Park

    This area is located about an hour north of Hakodate. Many people here rent boats and sail around the volcanic lake surrounded by volcanoes.

    This is a fortress built in the shape of a star located in the middle of the city. Some parts of the city wall are still evident.
