Misawa Travel Guide

When you visit Misawa, Japan be sure to take plenty of money.....you will need it if you plan to visit the shops on the Yellow Brick Road aka Green Pole Road just outside of the Misawa Air Base main gate.

You will need to have your cash converted to yen if you plan to purchase items at most of the small, family-owned shops. Some of the larger department/grocery stores and the American stores (McDonalds, Burger King, and Kentucky Fried Chicken) will take either yen or U.S. currency.
