heywinks Says: Located in Daisetsuzan National Park. This is one of two famous waterfalls in Sounkyo. This waterfall is beautiful, even in the rain! The water just slithers down the rocks where it meets with the rushing waters of the gorge. It`s an amazing site & not to be missed!

Sounkyo Youth Hostel: Passed it along the way...
heywinks Says: I didn`t stay here but I passed by it on my way to the waterfalls. It looked ok from the outside. Not sure about the inside. Be careful because they are not open year-round. They are closed from Nov 1-May 31. 2800yen/per person.
