Look this doorplate! Chaya is the name of place for men to enjoy the music played by Geico(women wearing fine and beautifu kimono), and this custom started in edo era. Still now the atomosphere remains every around this place, and we could enjoy drinking at bar here. Some chaya was remodeled into bar or restaurant, for example chaya-bar(076-221-1600).

Tourists and also resident people come here to get these fresh food stuffs. There were some places to dine and enjoy fresh fish as sushi and so on. You'd better hurry if you want to get the foods here, because almost all shops open up to 5-6 p.m.. Bars and restaurants are opened until night around 11p.m..
