The Hakone Sightseeing Ship finally arrived I think every 15 or 20 minutes I am not really sure, the ship depart.

Don't lost your Hakone Freepass their is always a guard/employee at the gate all the time to check your pass before boarding the ship.

This area I remember you have to wait for a departing Hakone sightseeing ship to Lake Ashi and you can buy Hakone souveniers, their a restaurants, a small store that you can buy snack and vending machine for something to drink.

What is doing that big and old ship in that lake in the middle of the forest?
It´s a tourist attraction, you can take it and enjoy a nice tour through the lake.
In a clear day it´s possible to see the Fuji-San (Fuji Mt.)

The cable cars/railway was really fun and the hot springs were beautiful. The view from the cable cars was amazing!

You can take one of these pirate ship in Lake Ashi. I think a reproduction of some sort of historic Japanese wooden boat would be more appropriate in this lake. Of course, it’s just me opinion.
