Hi,
Next Shinkansen-station from Hakone (direction to Kyoto) is Odawara, some 35 kms. There are shuttle-buses to the station, one from Hakone Prince Hotel.

Our ride back to Tokyo was on the shinkansen, and what a treat it was. The ride was luxurious inside and out.
