The great Buddha, Kamakura

A historical huge statue of Buddha. The wooden building that once housed the statue was struck by a tsunami in Muromachi period, so now the Buddha is sitting outdoors.

Arround the Shrines and temples usually there are also some gardens which are a great place to sit down and relax. Just enjoy what you see ... and the harmony!
