Favorite thing: Solid Square Office Bldg. on West Side of Kawasaki was opened from 1995. The location was previously a large factory of leading confectionery and pharmaceutical company Meiji Seika since prior to 2nd World War.
In the interior of the Solid Square Bldg. there is an overhead glass dome which opens on nice days, and directly below is the pond fountain, where the pool size expands to twice to diameter at times and/or other times features a fountain show. During Christmas the pond is drained and a huge blue tree stands. Occasionally, this becomes centre stage for week-end promenade concerts. All the floor tiles on the Solid Square grounds, inside or outside the building are arranged concentrically, all directed toward the grand center circle.
