Many pachinko/game parlour, complete with the thundering roar of pinball and gaming machines and fog-dense smoky air, and giving the fixes to the gambling-addicted abound in Kawasaki.
These resemble miniature versions of the same extravagant gaudiness found in i.e. Macau or Las Vegas, but skyline and cultural eyesores aside, as a result of the intense competition amongst the owners even for the non-gambler there are hidden benefits to these establishments, including finding impeccably clean public toilets designed to the extremes of nouveau riche, as well as trying the latest version of coin-operated video games. We like to enjoy the fitness- orientated coin video games such as dancing squares, percussion kits, air hockey etc. en route to walking home after dinner.
