Chinatown - confusing streets and.. well, bland

This Chinatown is like a Disney version of Chinatown made for Japanese people. Worst of all, like all tourist traps, the prices have been jacked up everywhere...and you WILL feel trapped, as this Chinatown, like most Chinatowns, is a very confusing maze of streets that will have you desperate to escape the sterilized sameness all around you.

Perhaps worth a quick look around. Better yet, rent a bike, ride through quickly and go to Kannai or Noge for a more genuine, and rewarding experience.

Unique Suggestions: Eat a steamed bun.

Fun Alternatives: The old streets of Noge or Kannai are a pleasure to walk around - especially at night. Where locals go to unwind after work.

Kirin Village - Nothing to do there...

It´s possible to visit the Kirin factory and to see the whole process making beer. Nothing spectacular there, you are not allowed to take pictures, and the visit can take around 20 minutes. It´s supposed to be a museum before the factory... in 2 minutes that "museum" can be visited...
It´s more a marketing tip than a tourist tip.
It´s a Japanese tourism trap, I was the only foreigner there.

Fun Alternatives: If you can avoid it, do it! You can visit lots of better places in Yokohama, just to sit in Yamashita Park is better.
