Houdou is made of flour like Udon but the shape is diferrent from Udon. It does look similar like Thai food calls 'Lakna' or Chinese food calls 'Horfun'. This is the most popular food in this small little town.
This bus run around Kawaguchi lake. You could get the 2 days 1000yen ticket, unlimited travel on this bus. Favorite thing: Kawaguchi=ko is a big lake on top the moutain area near by Fuji-san. It is both famous in summer for chilling holiday and winter for day trip onsen week-end family travel.
