The mechanical clock

The mechanical clock was built in front of JR Hitoyoshi Station as an imaginative Hitoyoshi castle tower.

It is a three storied building which rings seven times a day.(six times a day in the winter time.) The clock marks the hours with a regional folk song and seventeen dancing figures.
