By the time I hit these other places I was so drunk I kept forgetting to take pictures of the signs, so I don't know where the hell they were at. I know they're near the other bars listed on my Yatsushiro page. Anyway, enjoy these couple pictures.

This place was dark and empty. When I walked in they were playing the Wizard of OZ music. I still don't know why I stayed at first, but it turned out to be an alright place. They had a wide selection of alcohol and they changed the music when I showed up. It wasn't really anything special, but how the hell would I have known, I've never been there before.

Nothing too special about this place. The guy that ran the place was a pretty decent guy. He spoke some English and he gave me a free drink. So I gave him a five dollar bill to hang on his wall. He had several other foreign currencies hanging on his wall so I figured since he gave me a gift I'd do the same. Mine was the only US money up there, so I thought it would help out his collection a little bit. He also cooks some Japanese food if you decide to stop in and grab something to eat off the grill.

This place was very expensive, but it was definitely an experience. It was the only Club I went to after this one. I couldn't afford another one of these without saving for another 3 months. Anway, when I went inside a the two girls escorted me to a booth, brought me a drink and a song book and about 3 other girls. I don't think the people in Yatsushiro have ever seen American's before, or it's a rare occasion when they do. I had over half of the club sitting with me wanting to talk about what I do and why I'm in Yatsushiro and whatever else. It was fun, but 2 beers ended up costing about $40.00 which is way too much for me. So I ran out of there before they could juice me for some more money.

It's kind of funny how I ended up here. I was suppose to be going to Hiroshima again, but the lady at the ticket place gave me the wrong tickets. Well they're not written in English, so I went...

As for Kurume, I am wondering - how could Yatsushiro make it to become listed?? Anyhow, although not that important, the city has something to offer.......
