Round bar in the coffee house

This one is an interesting establishment that appears to have been running for some time as a coffee house. The front area facing the street is all loungey looking with neat displays in the international style, but towards the rear of the cafe can be found a beautiful round bar. This was clearly from another era, almost like that of the Indian Raj but in Japan! Here it seems most locals hang out at, while the the area at the front was for passers by.

Inoda Coffee garden

After the crowds of Kiyomizudera, it's refreshing to stop for a cup of cofee and cake at Inoda Coffee. You have a choice of indoor and outdoor dining.

Outdoor is nicer to me as it's set in a lovely Japanese garden with interesting landscape and you get watch the crowds go by as well.

Favorite Dish: The cakes and coffees here are delicious! You can smell the coffee a mile away :-)
