Spring Blossom Dance

by unaS

If you do go to see the Spring Blossom Dance (Tips, To Do) Don't buy tickets that include the tea ceremony there. It is a real rip-off. Just forget it. Get your tea in a local tea house. Much, much nicer. You can get a nice tea in any local tea house. If you want a real tea ceremony that has to be arranged in advance.

Rihga Royal's Not-so-revolving restaurant

by SSerre

I stayed at the Rihga Royal hotel, and for breakfast one morning, decided to eat in their revolving restaurant on the top of the building (12ish stories up). Well it never moved. For the first 15 minutes, I figured it moved really slow. Then I started marking landmarks to see if suddenly they were no longer in my view. So before you spend the money on an average meal with slow service for a special revolving restaurant, make sure it's turning first. The restaurant did have a great view of the area, and is on one of the higher buildings in town. And you can physically walk the 360 degrees and get the full view. I'd suggest going in the evening when the bar is open, just buying an inexpensive drink, and physically walking around the entire restaurant to see the view.
