Perky Jean: The best burgers in Japan!

With it's 50s decor and large collection of records & CDs, it's a great place to hang out with friends and get a good burger. The owner/cook speaks some English and everyone is very friendly.

Favorite Dish: Depending on my mood, either the bacon and cheese or acado burger.

Ninikuya (The Garlic Restaurant): Betsu bara (always room for dessert)

As the name implies about 90% of the dishes contain garlic! I was not a fan of garlic until I ate here. Best of all everything is good. It's best to go with a bunch of friends and have each person choose two items then feast on the fabulous food. As full as you may be, make sure you have dessert! Bestu bara, literally means separate stomach, but I like my translation of always room for dessert better!

Favorite Dish: Too many to list, but I will try. The ebi harumaki, shrimp rolls, Garlic pasta, and the tomato-crab pasta. Don't worry, menus in both English & Japanese.
