One thing I do not like about Kuwana is its station area. I do not feel comfortable about its deserted look. Hamamatsu until recently used to be that way, Kuwana city officials should seriously learn from Hamamatsu on urban planning and designing. It's really poorly directed. Kuwana station should not be just transitory place to Nagashima Resort. Anyway where do I start from this station to tourist attractions such as Rokkaen, Kyuka Park and Shichiri-no-Watashi site? Just turn left at the first huge road and walk about 5 minites until you reach the T intersection and turn right. Walk about ten minutes to find a road direction sign to Rokkaen. From Rokkaen area it is much easier to trace Tokaido sites.
